An interpretative dance telling the story of the residential school experience premiered on Friday night at the Broadway Theatre in Saskatoon.
The Silent Survivors is a co-production of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada, Dance Saskatchewan and Thunder Spirit Consulting.
The interpretative traditional dance attempts to shine a light on a dark part of Canada’s history.
A panel of residential school survivors were on hand to interact with audience and answer questions after the performance.
