A film will be shown tonight in Prince Albert examining the issue of how women living with HIV can have healthy babies.
The film was shot by the Saskatchewan Prevention Institute and begins at 7 p.m. at the John M. Cuelenaere Library.
Jody Shynkaruk is a sexual health coordinator with the institute.
She says pregnant women with HIV, or those who wish to become pregnant, need to know there is hope for their babies.
“Just because you’re living with HIV doesn’t mean you can’t have a healthy and happy family life,” she says
The event is free and everyone is welcome.
