The red carpet is being rolled out for Saskatchewan’s worst roads.
Voting wraps up at midnight tonight for the CAA’s annual campaign which highlights some of the worst roads the province has to offer motorists.
Potholes, broken asphalt and huge bumps are just some of the criteria used to determine which road gets the designation.
The CAA’s Christine Niemczyk says northern Saskatchewan is well represented in this year’s contest:
“Highway 23 to Cumberland House, Ile a la Crosse (Highway) 908 and La Loche Highway 155 have all been identified. ”
Niemczyk says many of the concerns raised about Saskatchewan highways are similar no matter where you go.
She adds road saturation and heavy truck traffic are taking their toll in many different locations.
The winner will be crowned tomorrow morning.
