The Saskatchewan Research Council is rolling out a new microscope that will help mining companies more closely inspect ore samples.
The microscope is capable of detailed electron analysis and will be available to potential clients immediately.
The SRC says the service will allow mining companies to increase productivity in an environmentally sustainable manner.
In a release, CEO Laurier Schram says the new service will enhance the research council’s ability to serve mining industry clients as a “one-stop-shop” to meeting their testing needs.
