There has been a major drug and weapons bust on the Little Black Bear First Nation in Southeast Saskatchewan.
RCMP executed a search warrant on a home on the reserve yesterday and seized a large amount of marijuana and 15 guns.
41 year old Trent Bellegarde is facing charges of possessing marijuana for the purpose of trafficking as well as numerous firearms charges.
The arrest followed a one month investigation by the File Hills First Nations police service with the assistance of Fort Qu’Appelle and Indian head RCMP.
