A mine-rescue team from Cameco celebrated a pair of victories this weekend at the 45th annual Emergency Response/Mine Rescue Awards in Saskatoon.
Underground and surface rescue teams displayed their skills and talents in 5 categories including fire fighting and first aid.
Mosaic’s Potash team from Belle Plaine swept several of the categories.
However it was the Cameco team from McArthur River that captured the overall award in the underground category.
They also won the underground mine problem competition as well.
The event was held at Prairieland Park in Saskatoon.
