His nights on the roof have paid off.
Souls Harbour rescue mission has exceeded this year’s campaign objective and raised more than $60,000 dollars to shelter the homeless.
Executive director of the mission Joe Miller spent the week on the roof of the building to raise awareness and cash.
He came down at noon Friday.
Miller’s first order of business was a warm shower and a good rest.
This is the fourth year for the fund raising event.
The money raised is enough to provide 2,400 nights of shelter for homeless people.
