An inquest has been called into the death of a teenager from the Mistawasis First Nation.
Nineteen-year-old Brandon Daniels died in a Saskatoon jail cell in the summer of 2010.
He was picked up by officers on suspicion he was intoxicated, but his mother said he had a medical condition that could make it appear that way.
An autopsy was performed, but police said they still weren’t sure what caused the teenager’s death.
The inquest begins on October 28 in Saskatoon.
It is scheduled to last 5 days.
