A man is dead after the snowmobile he was driving fell through the ice on Otter Lake.
RCMP say they responded to a report of someone in distress at around 2 p.m. Tuesday.
The victim tried to get out of the water but drowned.
At last word, the RCMP’s underwater recovery team still hadn’t located the man’s body.
A coroner has been brought in to help with the investigation.
The age and name of the victim have not been released.
