La Ronge RCMP along with the Major Crimes Unit North is working to establish the identity of human remains found this morning.
A search team of local Mounties and community members from Sucker River made the discovery around 10:30.
The search was being conducted with hopes of locating 24-year-old Jodi Roberts who was reported missing on November 6.
Police say they focused on this area after an article of clothing was found by a member of the public and turned over to police.
The human remains were found several kilometers from Sucker River.
Identification has not been confirmed and an autopsy is scheduled to be done in Saskatoon on Monday.
