RCMP say a homicide investigation is now underway into the death of Jodi Roberts.
Mounties confirm that remains of the 24-year-old woman were found near Sucker River on November 27.
She had been reported missing on November 6 after her family had not heard from her for several days.
An autopsy was conducted yesterday in Saskatoon and police say it was determined that Roberts did not die of natural causes, although the exact cause has not been released.
RCMP Major Crimes investigators and members of the La Ronge detachment are looking into the death.
So far, no suspect has been taken into custody and no charges have been laid.
Anyone with information on Roberts’ death is asked to contact the RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
