A northern Saskatchewan man that has been wanted by police for several months is now in custody.

Jeffrey Ryan Wolverine was arrested in Saskatoon on December 5.

Wolverine had been serving a community sentence when he failed to make a July 23 court appearance on the English River First Nation.

He is facing charges of sexual assault, sexual interference, as well as failing to appear in court, failing to comply with a conditional sentence order and 11 counts of failing to comply with a judge’s undertaking.

Wolverine made a court appearance today in Meadow Lake and will be back in court in English River on Dec. 17.
