La Ronge will have some new housing by the spring.
Work is underway on an eight-unit housing project offering four- and five-bedroom units.
The units are for NORTEP students with large families furthering their education in La Ronge.
It will be located at the corner of Bedford Drive and Louis Road.
The total cost of the unit is $2.6 million, with the federal and provincial governments providing about $1.4 million of the funding.
The project is expected to be complete by next April.
