The Restorative Action Program got a big boost from former Saskatoon Blades owner Jack Brodsky Thursday morning.
Brodsky is donating $100,000 to RAP to help with its anti-bullying programming.
He says RAP has been providing valuable programming to young people in Saskatoon for over10 years.
“It’s really just a great program that people need to move forward with their lives,” he says.
RAP programming is offered in seven high schools and to over 5,000 young people in the city.
It is a partnership between the Saskatoon Public and Catholic school divisions and the provincial and municipal governments.
In 2013, the program reached 850 individual students in Saskatoon.
RAP began in 2003 at Mount Royal Collegiate.
