A Christopher Lake man was in court this morning facing various charges after a firearms complaint on the Little Red River reserve.

Yesterday, RCMP received a report of a man and a vehicle being shot at.

RCMP officers from Prince Albert, Sturgeon Lake, Waskesiu and Prince Albert Police Dog Services responded.

There were no injuries reported.

Thirty-three-year-old Desmond Mirasty was later arrested at a home on the reserve.

The charges include reckless discharge of a firearm, careless use of a firearm and possession of a firearm without a licence.

Police say alcohol was a factor in the shootings.
