RCMP say charges are pending following a collision on a grid road just south of Punnichy Saturday afternoon that killed three people.
According to police, all three victims were in a pickup truck that rear-ended a road grader travelling in the same direction.
Two passengers — a 37-year-old man from Sandy Bay and a 47-year-old man from the George Gordon First Nation — were pronounced dead at the scene.
A 30-year-old woman from the Gordon reserve succumbed to her injuries while being transported to hospital.
The three other occupants of the truck, all from the Gordon reserve, were taken to hospital with a variety of injuries.
At last word, they were all hospitalized in Regina and the extent of their condition was not known.
Mounties continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
