It was another quick court appearance yesterday for a Regina man accused of killing two young Aboriginal women in separate incidents last year.
Thirty-two-year-old Clayton Bo Eichler was remanded in custody until June 19.
He is accused of the first-degree murder of 23-year-old Richele Lee Bear and committing an indignity to a human body, allegedly having sex with the girl after she died. Even though her body has never been found, police say they have solid evidence she has been murdered.
Bear was reported missing last August.
Eichler is also charged with the first-degree murder of 21-year-old Kelly Lynn Goforth. Her body was found in a Regina alley in an industrial area east of the downtown last September.
If convicted, Eichler would be Regina’s first serial killer.
