Douglas Hales had a heated exchange with Crown prosecutor Matt Miazga at his Saskatoon murder trial this afternoon.
Hales is on trial for first-degree murder in the death of 25-year-old Daleen Bosse, who was last seen in May 2004.
Throughout his cross-examination, Miazga continued to hammer away at the perceived inconsistencies in the different stories Hales has told police about the evening he spent with Bosse on May 18, 2004.
At one point, Hales said he believed RCMP officers had doctored one of his audio tapes.
When asked by Miazga how he knew this, Hales answered “God knows”.
Miazga then answered, “Is this the same God you sacrificed Daleen Bosse to?”
This is Hales’ second day on the stand.
