RCMP say their underwater recovery team has removed a pickup truck and the bodies of two local men in their 20’s from the bottom of the Beaver River, near Beauval.
Earlier today, Beauval RCMP said they were having difficulty reaching the vehicle, which ended up in the river on the weekend.
Police divers determined that there were two bodies in the pickup truck at the bottom of the river, but they were having problems with the recovery effort because of the river current and poor visibility in the water.
Police received a report of a truck speeding through Beauval early Saturday before officers discovered debris on a bridge near the community.
