Karina Wolfe’s friends and family have not given up hope of finding her.
Wolfe was 20-years-old when she was last seen in the area of 20th Street and Avenue H South in Saskatoon on July 2, 2010.
Wolfe, who was 20-years-old at the time, was seen getting out of a 2001 grey Corvette in the area.
On Monday night, friends and family held the fourth annual walk in honour of the Aboriginal woman.
Dorothea Swiftwolfe, an official with victim services for the Saskatoon Police Service, says they want to get the message out to the wider public that Wolfe is greatly missed and they are not giving up.
“She is somebody’s daughter, she’s somebody special, she’s loved,” she says. “And that was part of the message we wanted to bring out is this is somebody’s daughter.”
Wolfe’s aunt Josephine Longneck adds they want as much help as possible in locating her.
“We’re looking for Karina, we want people to get involved, we would like leadership to come and support us,” she says.
The walk was organized by Wolfe’s mother Carol and began at 810 Appleby Drive, the apartment building she last lived in, and ended at the White Buffalo Youth Lodge.
