RCMP are looking for two people who face serious charges after an assault which sent a 66-year-old woman to hospital early Monday morning.

Police were called to the Montreal Lake Cree Nation medical clinic around 5 a.m. Monday morning.

When officers arrived a vehicle which was believed to have been involved in the assault had left the area.

The vehicle’s owner was also missing but was later located at the Little Red reserve and taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Police are searching for 30-year-old Kevin Brian Henderson of Prince Albert and 26-year-old Shantel Laureen Mike of Beardy’s Okemasis First Nation.

The charges against them include attempted murder, aggravated assault, kidnapping and robbery.

Anyone who sees the suspects is advised not to approach them but to contact police.
