The Agency Chiefs Tribal Council’s director of operations says he is glad to see the Harper Government invest in First Nations youth job training.
The government says 120 First Nations youth from ACTC will receive personalized job readiness supports.
In a release, ACTC director Glenn Johnstone says the time is here for First Nations youth to have a chance for success like any other person in the country.
In Saskatchewan, 28 First Nations have been using the program, but it will now be 41 First Nations.
The Job Readiness Support Program is offered to First Nation youth between the ages of 18-24.
