The provincial government is doing what it can to help disaster stricken Nepal.
Premier Brad Wall announced this morning it would be providing a quarter million dollars in aid to help the earthquake devastated country.
He says the money will be distributed by the Red Cross.
The premier says the people of Saskatchewan understand how important it is to lend a helping hand.
“We are thinking about the people of Nepal as they deal with this terrible catastrophe”.
The death toll from the quake now stands at about 4 thousand.
Since 2010 the province has contributed more than a million dollars in disaster aid relief around the world.
