Concern is growing for a missing Metis woman from Prince Albert.

Shellbrook RCMP have learned that 22-year-old Danielle Nyland attended a social gathering in the East Flat area of Prince Albert early Monday morning.

Mounties say she was then seen in the Shellbrook area later that morning at about 7:30 am.

The owners of a home about 9.5 km east of Shellbrook found her cell phone at the end of their driveway and reported their discovery to police.

RCMP say it has not been confirmed, but Nyland may have last been wearing a white jacket, black leggings and a black tank top with a pattern on it.

She was reported missing by family on Wednesday around noon.

Police say Nyland has had no banking or social media activity since she was reported missing — nor has she had any contact with friends or family, which is not typical.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Shellbrook RCMP at (306) 747-2606 or Crime Stoppers at 1800-222-8477.
