Local officials from the Village of Air Ronge and the neighbouring Lac La Ronge Indian Band have ordered a mandatory evacuation of all non-essential emergency personnel.
Yesterday officials also issued a mandatory evacuation order for the Town of La Ronge.
Provincial authorities have also issued an evacuation order in the La Ronge planning district, with the exception of Napatak and Potato Lake.
The Egg fire has moved further south on the east side of the airport, closer to the town of La Ronge, which is already under restricted access.
Residents should leave by their own means if possible.
Drivers are urged to travel carefully, and to obey all road check personnel, signs and barricades.
If residents need assistance evacuating, they should register at the Jonas Roberts Centre, where buses are being arranged.

Highway 2 southbound is open, but traffic northwards from Prince Albert to La Ronge is being limited to emergency services.
Evacuees can register with the Red Cross at 1-888-953-3463, or stop at the Margo Fournier Centre (north of Northgate Mall) in Prince Albert.
