La Ronge Fire Situation Update July 13/2015 8:00pm
From Mayor Thomas Sierzycki:
Fire crews continue to keep the fire line 2km NW and 1.5km N of the Town La Ronge.
Great progress is being made and moving forward on securing the cat line.
We are hoping weather cooperates with us in the next 48 hours.
The flanks are stable however by no means contained.
Containment is required to deem the community safe.
SaskEnergy is working to prepare the community once re-pressurization can occur.
No projected time of return for evacuees.
We will be returning people as soon as it is safe.
I apologize for this and understand people are wanting to come home.
All EOC essential services are in full operation.
