For the past 11 years, volunteers, concerned citizens and the Regina city police have not given up on their efforts to locate Tamra Keepness.
The five-year-old was last seen on the night of July 5, 2004 in her home along the 1800 block of Ottawa Street.
The next day she was reported missing.
A week later, a $25,000 reward was announced for information leading to her recovery.
Since then, police have followed numerous leads but still nothing.
Last year, the reward was doubled.
This afternoon, a barbecue will be held at the Core Community Park in Regina to remind people of Keepness’s disappearance more than a decade ago.
