There is a severe thunderstorm coming toward La Ronge and anyone on the lake is asked to find a safe shelter.
The Egg Fire is burning to the north toward Nemeiben Lake and is still 12 km away from La Ronge. The Egg fire is not imminent threat to the community of La Ronge, and wild fire management will notify us if anything changes.
The Eli Fire (between Don Allen Ski Trails and Waden Bay). The Eli Fire is advancing north toward Nemeiben Lake.
Crews are on the fires but maybe grounded due to the storm.
