A woman who skipped court after she was granted bail on armed robbery charges, is back behind bars.
Carmine Patty Nayneecassum had already been released and approved for electronic monitoring in her father’s home on Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation when she skipped court on September 9.
Prince Albert police arrested her again earlier this week on a bench warrant, and now she faces even more charges.
Nayneecassum is alleged to have held up four West Hill and Midtown-area businesses between July 27 and August 7. The robberies all follow a pattern of a woman using a needle to threaten staff, and demanding cash.
Surveillance video was captured at many locations and posted on Prince Albert Police Service’s Facebook page.
Naynecassum was facing strict conditions when she was released at the end of August.
One of them was a 24-hour curfew to stay at the court-approved house.
Nayneecassum will now stay in custody until her next court appearance on Tuesday.
