The man charged with killing Monica Burns has changed lawyers.
Todd McKeaveney was arrested for second-degree murder in January.
Burns’ body had been found dumped on a snowmobile trail outside Prince Albert about a week earlier.
McKeaveney has already entered a not guilty plea.
He originally had a preliminary hearing scheduled in late September.
But that is now pushed ahead until January 22, and McKeaveney has remained in custody since his arrest. According to earlier reports, he was being held at Regina Provincial Correctional Centre.
Crown prosecutor Cynthia Alexander said Burns’ family has been in touch with victims services on those changes.
