The 24-year-old man injured in a police-involved shooting at Red Earth First Nation will be in court later this week.
Mario Whitehead is scheduled to appear in Carrot River Court on Thursday.
The incident happened on October 17th when Carrot River RCMP were called to an assault at a home on the reserve.
Police say when officers arrived, a man outside the home fired a shot at them.
Whitehead was later found with gunshot wounds and taken to hospital in Saskatoon. Several weeks ago the RCMP stated a court date would be scheduled once Whitehead recovered from his injuries.
The list of charges includes attempted murder, careless use of a firearm, assault and mischief.
The RCMP has requested the Saskatoon Police Service to conduct an independent external investigation into the incident.
