RCMP have released more information on the deaths of two people yesterday in Meadow Lake and they are calling it a murder-suicide.
Around 10 a.m. Thursday RCMP received a call about shots being fired.
When officers arrived they found the bodies of two adult men outside of a home.
No names have been released but police say the victims are a 73-year-old man and a 70-year-old man, both from Meadow Lake.
Investigators say the two men were known to each other and there is no evidence to believe there was anyone else involved.
An autopsy has been ordered on the 70-year male victim for Monday in Saskatoon.
The RCMP Major Crimes Unit was brought in to assist members of the Meadow Lake detachment.
