Regina police are offering $100,000 in reward money in the hopes of solving two disturbing cases.
One of them is the disappearance of five year old Tamra Keepness in 2004. She went missing from her home. Police chief Troy Hagen says leads are still coming in.
He says there have been 15 tips over the last couple of years. He has not given up hope the case will be solved.
“I have to remain hopeful, I mean we need to. If we lose hope, I don’t think it serves anyone very well,” Hagen said.
The other unsolved case involves the slaying of Burmese immigrants in August of 2010. A mother, father and three-year-old boy were found dead in their condominium in Northeast Regina.
Hagen says leads have dried up in the case.
On Wednesday the Regina Board of Police Commissioners extended the rewards, $50,000 in each case.
