The man accused of killing Karina Wolfe is one step closer to a potential trial.
Jerry Constant is charged with second degree murder in the death of Karina Wolfe.
Wolfe went missing in 2010, but her body was found a few months ago northwest of Saskatoon.
It is alleged Jerry Constant went to police with information about Wolfe’s disappearance just days before her body was found. He was charged shortly after.
Several of Karina Wolfe’s family and friends were in attendance Tuesday morning where Constant made a brief appearance via video from the Saskatoon Correctional Centre.
During the appearance a preliminary hearing was set for June 1.
Constant will remain in prison until that date.
