A decision has yet to be made on when La Loche’s Community School’s doors will open to students, in the wake of a mass shooting.
The Northern Lights School Division is confirming that the school will stay closed at least until February 22nd, but nothing is set in stone at this time.
In a news release on Wednesday, the director of education, Ken LaDoucer said the division has been in close contact with staff and community members in the decision-making process.
This means any dates that people have pointed to as possible return dates for students, are not final.
