A psychological assessment has been prepared for an aboriginal teen accused of attempted murder in Prince Albert.
The 17-year-old boy, who can’t be named due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act, allegedly shot a 15-year-old boy in the face on December 29.
Police have said the 17-year old who’s charged was found hours later, with a gun in his possession.
He faces multiple other charges, including possession of a prohibited weapon and reckless discharge of a weapon.
He has been in custody since just before the new year, and has had several bail hearings delayed while a bail report and psychological assessment were being prepared.
On Wednesday, the lawyer for the accused, Greg Chovin, noted that his grandmother was present in court.
A bail hearing will soon go ahead.
