The RCMP have made an arrest and are releasing the name of a Stanley Mission man who died several days ago.
Isiah McKenzie, 21, was found dead in a home in the community on Monday.
At the time, the RCMP wasn’t sure of the circumstances. The autopsy results and investigation revealed there had been foul play in McKenzie’s death.
On Friday, officers arrested 23-year-old Larry Charles for manslaughter.
He is the only suspect in the case, and the RCMP says the two men knew each other.
Charles is scheduled to make is first appearance in La Ronge’s court on Monday.
