The RCMP is reiterating its call for clues on a man’s disappearance more than a week after La Ronge residents held a candlelight vigil for his family.
Billy Taylor, 36, was last seen on December 17, 2015 when he left Fox Point headed for La Ronge by snowmobile.
He never arrived and it is believed he went through the ice on Lac La Ronge.
A number of air, ground and underwater searches have been done, but he has not been located.
The efforts have been extensive, including calling in Submerged Recovery and Inspection Services from Arlington, Washington for help.
Police are asking people visiting cabins, trap lines, or out on the lake to be on the lookout for any items or indication of activity that may help in locating Billy Taylor.
Taylor is 5’7″ tall and 190 lbs.
He was last known to be wearing a bright orange vest and driving a red 440 Polaris Snowmobile.
Anyone with information is asked to contact La Ronge RCMP.
