RCMP in Sandy Bay are on the look-out for a man who allegedly had an altercation with a 14 year-old girl.
RCMP received a report about an incident that occurred on the night of March 24 when the young teen was walking home in the community.
Mounties say she was approached by an unidentified man in a black truck and when she was close enough the man grabbed her by the wrist.
The 14 year-old was able to break free and run home while the truck drove off in the opposite direction.
The lone occupant of the black truck is described as an adult male in his 30s, he was wearing a black hoodie, a hat which said “Creighton” on it and glasses.
He also had a scratch on his left cheek.
The incident is currently under investigation by Sandy Bay RCMP and anyone with information is asked to contact them at at 306-754-4600.
