Two men have been arrested and charged in connection to a daring escape from police custody last month.
Richard Favel and Wade Halkett were both arrested in the past few days and have been charged with assisting in Braidy Vermette’s escape from lawful custody as well as assault with a weapon.
Police say Favel and Halkett are believed to be the masked men who assaulted correctional officers during Vermette’s escape.
Police are still trying to determine if anyone else may have been involved in the escape.
Braidy Vermette is one of two men facing first degree murder charges in the death of Troy Napope.
