Family members have confirmed the remains found south of La Ronge last week are those of 45-year-old Todd McCormick. Police say the remains were located on Friday near a gravel pit about six kilometers south of the Lac La Ronge Indian Band.
No name was initially released, but following an autopsy in Saskatoon on Monday, investigators have identified the deceased as McCormick. RCMP are not releasing the cause of death, but continue to treat it as suspicious.
Todd McCormick’s family confirmed on Facebook that it was his remains found in a gravel pit. He was reported missing after last being seen on May 8th, and the RCMP had put out a notice for information from members of the public.
