A 30-year-old man is scheduled to appear in Prince Albert Provincial Court today after a death last week on the Mistawasis First Nation.
Danny Ledoux who is from Mistawasis is charged with second-degree murder in the death of 28-year-old Cindy Joseph of Ahtahkakoop First Nation.
RCMP say the two were known to each other.
Early Friday morning police were called to a home at Mistawasis about an unresponsive woman.
Joseph was taken to hospital in Shellbrook and pronounced dead.
An autopsy was done this week in Saskatoon but the cause of death has not been released.
