Two people are facing drug and firearms charges after a home was searched at the Witchekan Lake First Nation.

Spiritwood RCMP, along with the Emergency Response Team and a police dog conducted the search Wednesday morning around 1:45 am.

Police say a number of long-barrel firearms and drug trafficking equipment was seized.

Two men from the reserve were arrested.

The charges include possession of a weapon and possession for the purpose of trafficking.

RCMP say 26-year-old Eddie Binning and 25-year-old Damion Binning were scheduled to appear in North Battleford Court this morning.
