A public inquest into a death at the Pine Grove Correctional Centre in Prince Albert will be held May 1-5.
On December 27th, 2015, 27-year-old Shauna Wolf was found unresponsive in a cell at the facility.
She was taken to Victoria Hospital and later pronounced dead.
The purpose of an inquest is to establish details of the death including the medical cause and manner of death.
The coroner’s jury can also make recommendations to prevent further deaths.
Coroner Neil Robertson of Regina will preside at the inquest at Court of Queen’s Bench in Prince Albert.
