It is the one-year anniversary of a missing mystery that has a Yorkton family pleading for leads.
It was on this day last year that 17-year-old Mekayla Bali seemingly vanished without a trace.
There have been lots of leads, but they have all turned out to be dead ends.
There has been absolutely no electronic footprint of the Yorkton teen since she went missing. Nothing through social media and nothing through financial institutions.
Mekayla’s mother, Paula, even went to Vancouver herself and made pleas through the media there after reports her daughter was seen in that city.
The family is offering a $25,000 reward for information that leads to her safe return.
