A man wanted for two stabbings in Prince Albert last winter has been arrested.
Police say 33-year-old Phillip Peter Charles was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant, and was picked up yesterday in Edmonton.
The two stabbing incidents happened on December 29th and sent two men to hospital.
The charges against the suspect include wounding and/or endangering a life, aggravated assault, two counts of possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace, two counts of being at large on his recognizance to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
Charles is also facing charges after an incident on Central Avenue last October.
Those charges include break-and-enter of an apartment, mischief destroying property not exceeding $5,000, being at large on his recognizance to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
He was transferred to Prince Albert Police custody and was scheduled to appear in court today.
