La Ronge RCMP say a man reported missing last week has been found.
Police say 51-year-old Andrew Charles was located Sunday evening, walking on Highway 915 by a motorist travelling south of Lynx Lake.
He had been reported missing Thursday evening after being last seen in the area of Sulphide Lake.
RCMP Sergeant Earl Leblanc says Charles was disoriented and dehydrated when he was found so he was taken to hospital in La Ronge as a precaution.
“They don’t have all the details yet because he got sent to the hospital to get checked out so they are actually going to be speaking to him today to get more details,” he said.
The RCMP is thanking everyone who helped out with the search effort.
Leblanc says there were 14 members of the Canadian Rangers, several people with Civil Air Search and Rescue and 20 volunteers from the Lac La Ronge Indian Band who took part in the search.
