A 39-year-old man is recovering in hospital after being attacked by a bear earlier this week.
The incident, which took place five kilometres east of Weirdale, was reported around 7:30 p.m. Monday.
Officials with Parkland Ambulance say the man received serious injuries and was taken to Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert. He was later transferred to Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon for further treatment.
No other details about the attack have been released.
