An autopsy will be done this week in Saskatoon after a hunting accident which took the life of a 23-year-old man from Prince Albert.
RCMP say the incident happened Saturday evening in a rural field 10 kilometers south of Weirdale.
Police say two men from Prince Albert were hunting in the same area when a shot was fired.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say the two men were not hunting together and did not know each other.
The other man involved who is 22-years-old and from Prince Albert, reported the incident to the RCMP, and remained at the scene.
The death is not considered suspicious and the victim’s name will not be released.
