Isolation precautions have been implemented after an outbreak of an illness this past weekend at the long-term care unit of the Big River Health Centre.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority says gastrointestinal symptoms were discovered in some of the residents and staff.
Visitor restrictions are now in place and no new patients will be admitted or discharged during the outbreak.
The precautions are taken to prevent the spread of the illness.
Laboratory samples of the illness have been sent away for analysis.
